The Abossey Okai Spare Parts Dealers Association one of the major business hub for car dealers in Accra are expected to embark on a sit-down strike on Wednesday, October 18, 2023.
The Association has earlier given the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) a two-week ultimatum to stop its tax compliance, invigilation exercise, and tax enforcement activities.
The ultimatum elapsed today but traders say that they had no response from the GRA. The traders have described the exercise by GRA officials as intimidation and harassment.
The head of communication of the Association Mr. Takyi Addo said their sit-down strike is going to be very huge and massive.
