The Anglican Bishop of Cape Coast, Very Reverend Dr. Victor Atta-Baffoe, has called on the country’s judiciary to be fair, firm, and bold in delivering justice.
According to him, a strong and fair judiciary is essential for peace and development in a democracy.
Speaking at a special mass to usher in a new legal year, he stressed the importance of the Chief Justice and the judiciary winning the confidence of the public.
“Our human dignity makes us equal in rights, be transparent and open in your actions when delivering justice. Be impartial and neutral in the decision-making process. Because right relationships mean giving to others what is owed them. We must recognise and remember what we owe to those who cannot demand it,” the Metropolitan Archbishop of Cape Coast advised.
