Rasmus Hojlund optimistic of Marcus Rashford partnership for more goals.
Manchester United striker Rasmus Hojlund has expressed that he will consistently be an option to pass to when he plays alongside Marcus Rashford.
Hojlund scored two goals against Galatasaray in the Champions League but the Turkish side left Manchester with the victory after responding to every setback they faced before producing a late winning goal.
In his post-match interview , Rasmus Hojlund emphasized that he will always be at a position to pass to especially when playing together with teammate Marcus Rashford . Hojlund called his goal as a ‘signature Rasmus goal’.
“It’s about getting in there the box , l always try to get into dangerous positions and I got the ball three times, if you count the offside as well, so yeah, I’ve been bought to score goals and I’m happy to get two more today, But again, if we talk about Marcus, we try to talk to each other and he knows I’m going to be there. He knows I can keep up with his pace when we go on the counter and we saw a glimpse of that today. It was a good feeling scoring and it was an incredible goal. I like to call that a “signature Rasmus goal” ,it was nice.”
Mauro Icardi made it 3-2 to Galatasaray in the 81st minute after missing a penalty that saw Casemiro receive his marching orders and the result condemned United to a sixth defeat in their 10 games so far this season.
United play Brentford next in the Premier League on Saturday.
