Matchday 3 of the ongoing 2023 GFA Women’s Premier Super Cup witnessed a mouth-watering encounter between Supreme Ladies and Dreamz Ladies FC at the Kyebi Astro Turf in the Eastern Region.
Faustina Agyemang finished a well-rehearsed teamwork goal in the 76th minute which helped the Kumasi-based Supreme Ladies to a 1-0 victory over Dreamz Ladies.
Top talent Susanna Konadu of Supreme Ladies was named the Woman of the Match in the first game of match day 3 of the Women’s Super Cup on the Kyebi Astro Turf.
In the second match of the day, the Giants of the West Hasaacas Ladies defeated Berry Ladies by a lone goal kind courtesy of Fidous Yakubu who was named the woman of the match with her dazzling performance.
The match was dominated by Hasaacas Ladies in both halves something that was not surprising as odds makers predicted a win for the Westerners.
On a bright football-favored weather Sunday afternoon at Kyebi, Hasaacas Ladies proved why they are the most successful ladies’ club in Ghana with a hard-fought victory over Berry Ladies.
The 2023 edition of the GFA Women’s Premier Super Cup competition features the likes of Ampem Darkoa Ladies FC, Dreamz Ladies FC, Northern Ladies FC, and Supreme Ladies FC representing the Northern Zone.
With Hasaacas Ladies FC, Army Ladies FC, Faith Ladies FC, and Berry Ladies FC also from the Southern Zone.
