Its a dream come through to play in the best league – Mohammed Kudus
Ghanaian football play maker was unveiled after he signed a five-year contract with the option to extend by a further year.
In his first interview with the club since signing, Kudus expressed his excitement that its a dream come true to play in the best league in the world .
“I’ve been dreaming of playing in a league like this since I was a kid, so I’m just taking each day by itself and following my dream and I’m here today. It doesn’t stop here, as we keep writing history and keep going.”
West Ham paid an initial £38m to sign him from Ajax where he had played since 2020.
In three years, the 23-year-old scored 26 goals in 108 matches for the Amsterdam-based club.
He is expected to make his Premier League debut when the Hammers travel to Luton in the Premier League this coming weekend.
Kudus will wear the 14 jersey at West Ham, which was wore by former black star player John Paintsil during his tenure at the club from 2006 to 2008.
