Peter Edochie, a renowned Nigerian movie actor, has recently made a public statement regarding his son Yul Edochie’s decision to marry Judy Austin as his second wife.
It is worth noting that his son is currently going through a divorce with his first wife, May. May has taken legal action against his son and his new partner, Judy, claiming adultery and demanding N100m in compensation.
May has filed a restraining order to prevent Yul from approaching their former marital home.
During an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, Pete commented on his son’s marital crisis: “He who fetches ant-infested firewood, you should be ready to host the lizards for a feast.” This can be interpreted as Yul being responsible for his current issues.
Yul and his second wife, Judy, appear unconcerned about the divorce and lawsuit involving his first wife.
