The general overseer of the Heaven’s Gate Ministries, Nicolas Osei a.k.a Kumchacha, has revealed plans to run for president in the upcoming 2024 elections.
He said his party will be called Kum People’s Party (KPP) and their main motive is to kill poverty, debt, and corruption in the country.
Speaking on Ahotor 92.3 Fm‘s Midmorning show dubbed Ahotor Mmre as the Host on the 28th of July’s holiday edition of the show, he said, “I am ready to become the next President of Ghana after Akufo-Addo”.
Talking about the inspiration behind this decision, he mentioned that first of all the Ghanaian constitution doesn’t prevent him from contesting as he meets all the qualifications to become president.
“Secondly, I believe that the country currently needs a spiritual leader to help us climb the ladder again. We gained independence about 66 years ago but we are still stagnant. It is time for us to see changes in our lives,” he said.
He added that “our leaders are just confusing us with English and grammar when we need action and not promises.
