Ghanaian Kumawood actor, Michael Afranie has revealed that most of the people in the movie space are very disappointed in Akufo Addo’s government.
Speaking with Citizen Kofi Owusu on Ahotor Fm 92.3 today, 26th June 2023 on Adekyee Mu Nsem, commented that some of the actors and producers who campaigned for the government in power are disappointed seriously and have decided to make a U-turn to the NDC.
He said; the government used sugar-coated words to entice most of the people in the Ashanti region, especially the movie people but they failed them.’’
He added that; the NPP government doesn’t know anything, and that they know is to talk but no action works, which has hurt most of their movie players who believed strongly in the words of the Akuffo- Addo led government.’’
However, said that most of them have now realized that the NPP can’t help them, they lied to them. So they have decided to join the NDC now.
Afranie ended by urging his fellow Kumawood actors to come together to help NDC achieves its aims for the country.
