Samuel Inkoom calls on Heart supporters to rally behind them in the upcoming season.
Accra Hearts of Oak defender, Samuel Inkoom has called on the supporters to continue supporting the team, especially in hard times.
Speaking after their goalless draw game with Berekum Chelsea, he expressed that the club hearts of Oak belongs to the supporters and they must continue to rally behind the team in difficult times.
“To the fans, I keep on preaching that Accra Hearts of Oak is for them, they made it a traditional team, I will apologize for whatever happened in the league, they can’t leave the team, it’s for them, they have to come together and support the team.”
” I think every supporter wants his team to win, this is football, and you can’t change that but we the player’s technical team are pleading with the supporters. This season, I signed a contract with hearts to win the league to achieve something bigger for them but is unfortunate we couldn’t but it doesn’t mean the team is bad We have all accepted our faults and will redeem them in the future.”- he added
The 21 times league champions couldn’t make a possible impact in the just-ended season after battling to escape relegation even in the last round of games
