“NOTHING IS TOO BIG AND NOTHING IS TOO SMALL” – BARBARA ASAMOAH TO NDC SYMPATHIZERS

The largest Opposition National Democratic Congres (NDC), has called on its members, sympathizers and the general public to contribute financially to support the party’s bid to retain the Assin North parliamentary seat in the impending by – election slated for 27th June,2023.

In a statement issued on June 7,the party’s Deputy general secretary in charge of administration Barbara Serwaa Asamoah said people who want to donate can send funds via Momo number 0598947709,starting today Thursday, June 8, 2023.

“Nothing is too big and nothing is too small”she added.

Speaking on Ahotor fm Simpieso with Emmanuel Martey, Barbara Serwaa Asamoah said, the Assin North seat fell vacant after the Supreme court annulled the election of NDC MP James Gyakye Quayson, citing issues with his citizenship status at the time of filling his nomination in 2020.

The ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) seeking to regain the seat it lost in the 2020 election, has elected Charles Opoku as it Parliamentary candidate.

The NDC is with the Hope of retain its seat come June 27th, 2023.

The party needs resources to match the NPP’s campaign machinery as it seeks to win on the back of work done by the former MP.
