NPP has a Propaganda Machinery Compare to NDC – Dr. Tony Aidoo

Former Ambassador to Netherlands Dr Tony Aidoo has revealed on Yepe Ahunu Political Program with Nana Dogbe that the NPP has established a strong propaganda Niche as compared to their Political Acrh Rival, the National Democratic Congress(NDC).

The former senior Presidential Aide and Head of the Policy Evaluation and Oversight Unit of late President Atta Mills From 2009 to 2013, made the statement during a phone in interaction about the legal controversies surrounding the embattled Assin North lawmaker, Hon James Gyekye Quayson on Saturday 10th June , 2023 on Ahotor fm 92.3 weekend Political Review show.

Dr Aidoo said the NPP unlike the NDC has since its inception into Ghana’s political space has been able to coerced voters by virtue of its vibrant propagandist approach to woo unsuspecting electorates who otherwise would not have voted for them during successive elections.

He opinionated that, the NDC style in propagating its works and track records to the masses have not been well understood and permeated due to the incessant counter – Negative sale of information to the public via a propagandist format by the NPP and their surrogates over the years.

He disclose that, the NDC has been very truthful to Ghanaians in the discharge of its political promises as compared to their counterparts in the ruling government but the party has not tell its story in the most idle manner , giving the NPP room to dissipate the enviable performances by the NDC through foul means.

Dr. Tony who sounded upbeat about the future of the NDC in recapturing power in 2024 told Nana Dogbe that, Ghanaians are beginning to see and also testify to the lies and untruthful conduct of the ruling party either be in opposition or in government.

He observed further and took a swipe at Dr Mahmoud Bawumia as a flip- flopper and a deceptive politician who does not deserve to be given the chance to lead both the NPP and Ghana as a whole. Dr Aidoo noted that, vice President Bawumia lied his way to power and continue to deceive the power after failing to deliver upon the numerous public lectures on bad governance during the reign of former President John Mahama in 2013 to 2016. He added after Ghanaians bought into the lies of Nana Addo and Dr. Bawumia and gave the party mandate to govern only for the citizenry to witness a bizzaire leadership crisis amidst untold hardship and abuse of groups and individual rights by some elements in the corridor of power.

The former Ambassador also touch on the Assin North by election and urged the NDC to focus and ensure that they work according to a proactive plan which is capable to enable them retain the seat.

The by election is slated for Saturday 27th June, 2023 in Assin North Constituency of the central region.

Ambassador Tony Aidoo advised the electorates in the Assin Constituency, to vote on  their consciences and not to be asway by goodies and inducements by the ruling government.

He condemned the regime where political parties and individuals in Ghana since from 1992 and under the 4thRepublic exercise their voting right on tribal and mere likability of persons seeking for political office instead of benchmarking performance, commitment and integrity of candidates who aspire for political office devoid of tribal orientation and interest.
