The 2017 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards came off yesterday Saturday 8th April 2017 at the Accra International Conference Centre.
The event, which honors Ghanaian artiste and celebrate original Ghanaian and African music, the night saw 25 awards given to deserving artistes.
The night was rocked by the powerful performances from M.anifest, Kofi Kinata, Stonebwoy and Sarkodie.
Joe mettle became the first Gospel musician to win the ultimate award, “Artiste of the Year”. He won two other awards; “Gospel Artiste of the Year” and “Best Male Vocalist”.
In addition, Paapa Yankson was given the “Lifetime Achievement Awards” for his contribution to the High life Industry.
