The chief coach of the Nigeria table tennis federation, Bello Nosiru has attributed the team’s splendid performance in the just-ended West Africa regional table tennis competition in Accra, Ghana.
Speaking after the competition, Bello Nosiru emphasized that there was no magic performed to clinch these medals but hard work and adequate preparation. The magic of hard work yielded the results.
” If you work hard, you must achieve, if you work hard you must also succeed. We worked hard, we prepared before coming to Ghana. We had intensive training, it’s not magic, it’s the magic of hard work. If you don’t prepare you will not see the boys bringing out their skills and a lot of things that go up here. We didn’t just wake up and come to Ghana. We put them in camp, we spent a lot of days preparing them so the outcome of our hard work and preparation is the outcome of what you see today .”
The Nigeria table tennis federation was crowned overall champion for picking about 15 medals in Men singles, Women’s singles, and both men’s and women’s round robbers in the West African regional table tennis competition.
