The Member of Parliament for the people of North Tongu in the Volta Region Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has taking some time to appreciate the people who supported him during his time in court during his legal battle over the National Cathedral between himself and reverend Kusi Boateng.
According to him former President John Dramani Mahama, Professor Jane Naana Opoku Agyeman, his colleague MPs and the entire NDC have been very helpful and needs to be appreciated.
He again appreciated his constitutes, the chiefs and people of North Tongu.
He said they have been supportive and he cannot take it lightly.
He added that his people have shown him too much love and he also love them even more.
“I owe so many people a lot of thank you, the chief and people of North Tongu have been tremendous in their support and solidarity.
Sometimes I get emotional about it and I remember all the things they have done for me and that is why I serve them with all of me the way I do.
I always say I could not have been MP anywhere than my beloved North Tongu they love me and I love them even more’’he said.
He added that the love shown him is as a result of speaking the truth and working for the truth.
“People will support you and always stand in for you and even fight for you only if you are working on the truth ” he added.
