NDC Parliamentary hopeful for the Tema West Constituency James Enu has said the drama that occurred in Parliament on Thursday, January 7, 2021, as newly elected Members of Parliament fought their way through the selection process of a Speaker for the 8th Parliament is “an absolute disgrace” when MP for Tema West, Kingsley Carlos Ahinkorah, snatched some ballot papers and attempted to flee from the Chamber.
Appearing on Ahotor 92.3 Fm’s morning show on Tuesday 21st February,2023, a Parliamentary aspirant for the NDC in the Tema West Constituency Lawyer James Enu described the current member of Tema West Carlos Ahinkorah as an embarrassment to the people of Tema.
He said as an MP, Carlos Ahinkorah could have lobbied for development in the Tema West area but he has done nothing in terms of development.
Answering the question if it is good for the Akufo-Addo led government to cut down expenditure, Lawyer James Enu said if the government is a listening government and feels for the people of Ghana, they will cut down the size of their government.
