Nigerian musician Wizkid has delivered an apology to fans who were left saddened Saturday night Show in Accra.
He tweeted last Sunday evening articulating regret for not showing up at the Accra Sports Stadium as his fans anticipated.
According to him, his pull out from the show was a result of the organizer’s failure to put necessary measures in place.
He posted ‘’Ghana is a country hold apologies to all fan! Y’all know I would never do anything, without serious reasoning behind it.
My brand is something I don’t joke with! Sincerely apologize, to everyone who made the effort to come out for me last night
I was charged up, and looking forward to doing this show. However, please understand that every decision I made co-sided with honoring my fans, and would only make a drastic decision like this because it was the right thing to do and I had to.
Unfortunately, up until the show there continued to be safety and production issues from putting on a high quality that my fans deserve.
In what looks like a consolation for the disappointing turn of events, Wizkid noted that my team and I are working on delivering a show to my amazing fans in Ghana. It will be just us, me, and you. Date and details soon will be announced soon”. He ended.
