OTTO ADDO EDGES GHANAIANS TO BE PATIENT WITH YOUNG PLAYERS

The former head coach of the Ghana black stars Otto Addo edged Ghanaians to have patience on young black star players.

In an interview, he said we don’t have to put pressure on the players but rather support them and have patience with them especially our young players.

” Am in difficulty putting pressure, especially on our young players. I think everyone knows we have a good team and hopefully, if we continue developing this is the most important thing, we expect even then and now. It is a process and even if a new coach comes, I will like and will love that first of all we give him the chance.”

”Me, before I came, I do not know if it was everybody but there was a lot of negative even before I took one step on the ground and came towards me. People were serving me faithfully. I wish the next coach to come will be given the chance to show himself developed and let them grow sometimes it takes losses to grow and sometimes too the best flaws on wet days. Michael Draw wasn’t even picked by the High School team, but he developed.”

So, it’s a process, so to keep to success is surely consistency and we all have to change a little bit our mentality and support a little more especially the young team and to ensure the AFCON that things take time to integrate, patient to grow’

Ghana participated in the ongoing FIFA world cup Qater, 2022 but exited in a group stage.
