The National Chairman of the largest opposition party in Ghana, Hon Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo has shared an emotional story over his re-election bid as National Chairman of the NDC.
In an interview with Mugabe on Power 97.9 fm, Chairman Ofosu-Ampofo shared an emotional story when asked whether he would contest again or not as Chairman of the NDC
In his response, he shared a chilling story “I had a call from a teacher, he said on the phone, Chairman where are you , I want to come and give you something. I asked him to come to the house so he took a taxi and came, he said Chairman you have to be maintained as Chairman, you have done a wonderful job, I’m a teacher, I don’t have enough but I have saved 5000 cedis to support you pay for your filling fee” he continued, Mugabe I became very emotional because people call me all the time and ask for money to campaign for me but this is a teacher handing 5000 cedis to me in this difficult times to lead the NDC to victoryin 2024 “
Chairman Ampofo revealed that his mission isn’t done and will not rest until that mission is fully accomplished, that’s leading the NDC form the next government in 2024.
And reacting to a recent press statement he released in response to Asiedu Nketiah’s infamous Oyerapa tv interview, Chairman Ofosu-Ampofo called for calm and unity in the party and pledged to place the interest of the NDC over his personal interest at all times .
