Managing Director for the Electricity Company, Ghana (ECG) Samuel Dubik Mahama has pleaded with Ghanaians who were enjoying power illegally to revert back to the legal use of power because they have rectified their system’s challenges.

But speaking at a Press Briefing on the incident, Samuel Dubik Mahama who heads ECG indicated that the challenges have been resolved.
He acknowledged that some persons engaged the services of electricians to tap the power illegally during the time but pleaded to such people to revert back to the legal use of power.
“We know that during the past week, some people tapped the power illegally. We are pleading with you people to call those who did the illegal for you so that they come and revert it because we have worked on our systems,” he said.
He indicated that the company will send its task force to houses and offices to check and deal with customers who are using power illegally.
