Former National Organizer of the NDC Yaw Boateng Gyan, says it is not good for the NDC to have two of it’s big men contest one position.
According to him, it will be bad for the party to lose one of them which he sees possibly happening if they should be allowed to contest each other.
He mentioned that, should any of these leave the party, it will affect the party in the 2024 general elections.
He said every political party going to elections seeks to assembly its solid squad for a win.
“Let me say that it is not good for the National Democratic congress to see any of these two lose.
“Every political party assembly’s it best materials for a win in elections I mean human resource and that makes a party “he said.
And the decision is unfortunate.
He said this had happened in other years and it affected the party badly.
“This will not help us at all” he said.
According to him, said it is always a worry when one loose they are not called again not even upon your level experience.
He said the two will have to be sat down and spoken to for better options.
This comes after the General secretary of the NDC Mr. Johnson Asiedu Nketia is rumored to contest Samuel Ofosu Ampofo for the National Chairmanship position of the party.
