Ghana midfielder, Benjamin Afutu Kotey has held his first training session with a new club, Al-Taqadom FC.
The former Hearts of Oak man joined the Saudi Arabian Third Division fold on a free transfer and signed a one-year deal.
Reports had it that, the offensive midfielder was on the verge of rejoining Hearts of Oak with Asante Kotoko also showed interest after parting ways with Egyptian Premier League side Eastern Company in June due to limited playing time making only eight appearances for the Egyptian club.
He was instrumental for the Phobians in the 2021-2022 season helping the side to clinch the League title and FA Cup but did not renew his contract with the Phobians since he wanted to fetch in more cash.
After reuniting with a former colleague at Hearts, Bernard Arthur to ensure Al-Taqadom return to top-flight when the season kicks start in September.
