Ghanaian Musician, Dadie Opanka has urged radio presenters and DJs to play more songs made by local artists regularly.
Born Armstrong Affum, he expressed worries about how foreign songs have taken over the Ghanaian airwaves instead of the local tunes.
Speaking with Obaapa Janee on Ahotor Fm’s Ahotor Mmre, the ‘Tie Tie’ hitmaker pleaded with radio presenters to invest more time in promoting songs made by local artists.
He called for support from the fans also by requesting songs from their favorite local artists when they call to request songs on radio stations.
He said his new tune ‘Enye Betee’ is a potential awarding-winning track but Radio stations and the Fans can make sure of that by promoting the song. Opanka is currently on a Radio Tour promoting ‘Enye Betee’.
