Armstrong Affum popularly known as Dadie Opanka has disclosed where he got his stage name from.
According to the ‘Obiaa ni ne taste’ hitmaker, he was named after a prominent person in his family who was highly respected, “I was named after a prominent person whose name was Opanka” he said.
When asked by Obaapa Janee on Ahotor Fm’s Mid-morning show dubbed Ahotor Mmre the meaning of the name ‘Opankaa’, he said he was told it referred to anything original, scarce, and not common.
Opanka is a Ghanaian artist who has been in the music industry for a long. He started making freestyles and mix tapes and that made him well known in the industry.
The talented musician who is on a Radio Tour for his new single ‘Enye Betee’ also used the opportunity to promote his new track on Ahotor 92.3FM.
His new tune ‘Enye Betee’ according to the lyrics gives motivation to people on the current hardships in the country.
‘Enye Betee’ is indeed a song that lifts the spirit of anybody who wants to give up in life not give up as there is hope.
