Ugandan forward, Steven Dese Mukwala arrived in Ghana on Monday afternoon to complete his move to Asante Kotoko.

The former URA FC goal poacher who agreed on personal terms with the ‘Porcupines weeks ago will officially sign a two-year deal if he successfully passes his mandatory medical test.

The 23-year-old played a huge role for Ugandan side URA FC last season, scoring 13 goals in the Ugandan Premier League to finish as the club’s second top scorer.

The Ugandan international will be joining his teammates on after completing his medicals to prepare for their pre-season in Turkey.

Mukwala is being tipped to fill in the shoes of Udinese-bound, Frank Mbella Etouga who is likely to seal a £1.5m deal to the Italian Seria A side.
