The Ghanaian rapper, and the Lapaz Toyota hitmaker, born Maradona Yeboah Adjei, has been slow on the musical front for a while. Finally, he reveals the reason behind his silence. And that why has to do with pursuing another dream.
Guru reveals his political ambitions and sees himself as a future president, that’s why he is in school to make his dreams come true.
“I’ve gone back to school. You see, I must have the qualification, the certified CV, to stand anywhere or on any grounds to be that guy who is well-educated enough to represent the people.”
He said that his profession should not be a limitation to reaching higher grounds. Because is not the only thing he has to do on earth.
“To me, everything is possible. I think I can’t limit my dreams to just doing music emphasized here is more to life than just music.”
According to him, “It’s possible. So I would love to do that. There’s money in it. People are spending millions of dollars just to win a seat, and based on your popularity, it makes it easier. Having the proper qualifications will help you know this field that you can operate and assess and impact lives”. “For instance, if I become a president right now, I have no knowledge of administration. So how would I handle it?
So I’m learning the stats and then using them to deliver. Give them the best of me. So I will represent you someday.”
