Ghanaian musician and the ‘Koti’ hitmaker, Ayesem is back to the scene with long awaited sure hit that will bless the ears of good music lovers dubbed ‘Julie’.
‘Julie’ is a typical African styled rythem with the trademark African clap in the beat making the soon to blow tune a grade A African Afropop music.
Stephen Kwabena Siaw, known by his stage name Ayesem came into the limelight with his viral and popular song ‘Koti’.
The lyrics of the new tune ‘Julie’ talks about a teenager who was very intelligent but unfortunately grew up in the slums and got herself involved in a lot of bad deeds which lead her to bad company.
One thing lead to the other, she met someone who promised her everything , she got pregnant , gave birth and with birth complications she ended up in a wheelchair unable to walk.
She was later used for money rituals by an alleged ‘sakawa boy’. She died few months later.
The music was produced by the multiple awards winning sound engineer Willis Beats.
‘Julie’ is well composed, arranged and will surely move feets wherever or whenever it’s played.
