The Member of Parliament for Ashaiman Hon. Ernest Norgbey has called on the next NDC government to consider fixing all the deplorable roads in the constituency when it comes to power in 2024.
According to him, Ashaiman has been the Bank of Votes for the NDC and as such deserves more development when the party is in power. He notes even though the NDC party did some major developments in the constituency, he is asking for more to be done in fixing all the bad roads when the party returns to power.
He promised that the NDC in Ashaiman will also do its bid to ensure that it enters the gutters to pull the needed votes to bring the party back to power in 2024.
Hon. Ernest Norgbey made this known at the 7th annual mother’s day celebration he held for mothers in Ashaiman. He seized the opportunity to also reward some founding fathers of the constituency who had work tirelessly since 1992 to bring the party to where it is now.
The National Chairman of the NDC Chairman Ofosu Ampofo speaking recognized the important roles women played in the constituency and asked them to continue to support to bring the party back to power.
He acknowledged that Ashaiman has been one of its strong holds of votes and promised to lobby for a ministerial position for the constituency when the party comes to power.
The National Women’s Organizer of the NDC Madam Hannah Bissiw also called on women to protect the ballot box in the coming elections to prevent the NPP from rigging the elections as done in the past
