Ambassador Emmanuel Victor Smith, former Ghana high commissioner to the United Kingdom has emphatically stated that he will not go to court to litigate under the Akufo Addo led government.
The vociferous leading member of The NDC, remarked this during a live studio discussion with Kofi Owusu on Adekye Mu Nsem morning show on AHOTOR FM 92.3.
The former Ambassador emphatically mentioned that ” I will not go to court under this government, is always 7-0 ” he said.
He noted that, the road minister, Kwasi Amoako Atta (MP West, Eastern Region) decision to abrogate the collection of tolls in the country was out of place and loss of revenue to the state.
The former spokesperson for late President Jerry John Rawlings vowed to personally Pursue the matter when the NDC party comes to power.
Mr Smith touched on rages issues and economic difficulties, affecting the various sectors of the economy and said President Akufo Addo lacks the mental fortitude as well as the moral courage to find solutions to these challenges confronting Ghanaians since Nana Addo lied his way to power.
He also bemoan the posture of the Supreme Court Over their recent verdicts where the justices vote on unanimous decision to arrive at their judgements.
Mr Emmanuel Smith however emphasized that these outcomes are often prejudicial and known and in view of that he will not go to court under the NPP government due to what he explained as the seemingly partisan conduct of some of the Supreme Court judges in the discharge of their ruling on what appears to be state related matters.
