Executive Director of Centre for Greater Impact of Africa, Rev Dr Worlanyo Mensah says, it is time govt gives more attention to Technical and Vocational Education Training (TVET) and policies, as it currently holds the future of the nation.
He says such a move would propel national industrialization and accelerate economic growth.
He said, Ghana’s form of education leaves a huge gap between the industry and the educational products making it difficult for accessing the job market.
He said, until Technical Vocation and Education Training (TVET), the country’s quest for industrialization and job creation would be a mirage.
The Economist stressed that, the policies of the TVET should be changed to industrial education for its proper positioning.
Saying that, such education should be more of investment and creativity.
