A-24-year old student, Justina Donkor has bitten off part of the penis of a robber, Emmanuel Ankron, 23.
This happened during an alleged robbery at Abompey New Site in the Obuasi Municipality of the Ashanti region.
Justina has reported the incident to the police detailing Mr. Ankron drugged and forcibly had sex with her in her room.
Miss Donkor says she woke up to find the young man pointing a machette and a locally manufactured pistol at her.
She alleged she was robbed of her TV set, mobile phone and an amount of GHc550.00.
Although unwilling, she obliged, started and in the process bit off his penis. The suspect also bit her at the back as alleged.
“The suspect with blood oozing from the wound, ran away leaving the TV set and her mobile phone behind,” she indicated in the statement to the police.
Both of them are receiving treatment at the AGA Hospital at Obuasi.
The police have retrieved the cut off penis from the crime scene, deposited it at the hospital for preservation.
Investigations are underway.
