The National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) reports that six people have been confirmed dead following yesterday evening’s downpour.
According to organization, four of the bodies have been retrieved at Adjei Kojo in Ashaiman, and another at Odorna.
Despite four bodies being found, the Communications Director at the National Disaster Management Organization asserts two persons are still missing.
The Ghana Meteorological Agency had issued an alert to warn residents of a rainstorm at the southern portions of Togo that it forecasted would affect places in the southern half of the country.
The rainstorm, according to the Agency, also affected areas such as Kpetoe, Akatsi, Ho, Kpando and its environs in the Volta Region.
