Barring any last minute glitch, the former President John Drammani Mahama of Ghana would be expected to assume the Chairmanship position to steer the affairs of the TANA High- Level Forum on Security in Africa, taking over from the ex- president of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo who was the Chairman of the TANA Forum, on Sunday 22/4/18″.
Based in Ethiopia, the TANA Forum is a platform for African leaders, stakeholders and thoughts leaders to collaboratively engage in exploring and exchanging ideas on African -led solutions to its security challenges.
The Forum was launched in 2012 and is actively supported by the Ethiopian government as an African – owned initiatives to explore solutions by Africans for the continents security challenges.
The ceremony will end the two day discussions on the theme : Ownership of Africa’s Peace and Security Provisions.
