A deputy National Coordinator for National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO), Joseph Yamin, has vowed that he will do all he can to return the National Democratic Congress (NDC) back to power in 2020.
To be able to achieve that, Yamin believes a position as the Ashanti Regional Chairman can help facilitate his objectives.
Since the Electoral Commission Chairperson, Madam Charlotte Osei, pronounced the New Patriotic Party (NPP) as winner of the 2016 General Elections, many in the NDC are engaging in blame games, accusing some executives as the cause for their defeat.
Speaking on Adom TV on Monday morning, Yamin a Panelist for the Badwam show said it is normal for people to find justification for their loss but it also important that they recoup from the shock and bounce back in a stronger way.
According to him, his analysis of the figures that projected the NPP to victory has shown that the NDC has a big chance of winning only if the executives go down to the grassroots to work assiduously.
He stated that the various positions he occupied during President Mahama’s tenure has made him an experienced politician who can work bring back the NDC.
“I have gained experience in the positions I have served in government and my analysis shows that I can work hard and bring the NDC back to power in 2020. And the best position to do that is to go for the Ashanti Regional Chairmanship”, he indicated.
He warned that NPP should be battle ready because they have learnt their lessons and going to march the NPP boot for boot.
