The founder and leader of Heaven’s Gate Ministries, Nicholas Osei known to many as Kumchacha, says US president Donald Trump did not err when he described Africa, Haiti and El Salvador, as “shithole” countries.
The radio prophet, therefore, wants African leaders to accept the “shithole” comment as a true description of Africa, particularly.
President Nana Akufo-Addo is one the African Heads of State to publicly express dissatisfaction with Trump’s comment, describing it as an “insult from a leader of a friendly country.”
But speaking exclusively on Kofi TV, Prophet Kumchacha said the comments should rather encourage African leaders to put in place pragmatic policies that would save the African continent from poverty, corruption and unemployment to create wealth for all.
According to him, the continent has the requisite skills and resources to better the lives of ordinary citizens but for lack of leadership.
“Trump is 100 percent right to describe African countries as shithole countries. We have everything at our disposal but our leaders refuse to make good use of them”, he said.
“They should be blamed for the hardships and suffering of the people; why should we be angry with Mr Trump when he describes us as shithole? I agree with him”, he added.
He continued, “God will punish our leaders for deceiving us all this while. They deserve to be called shitholes,” he fumed.
