Asante Kotoko have appointed former skipper Amos Frimpong as the Welfare Officer and Youth Team Manager of the Club.
Amos Frimpong is expected to bring his experience to the table as the club seeks to improve both on and off the pitch. An attempt to transform the juvenile team of the club is a major reason for the appointment of their former skipper.
Amos Frimpong captained Asante Kotoko for over four years and helped the club to mutiple victories in terms of silverware. At international level he played a pivotal role in 2017 when the Black Galaxies lifted the WAFU Zone B Championship.
