ARACA and NRSA campaign on road safety ahead of Christmas festive

Africa Road Accident Campaign Ambassadors (ARACA) – NGO in collaboration with the National Road Safety Authority (NRSA) has embarked on road safety awareness campaign ahead of this year’s festive season.
The campaign started at the Sakumono School Complex (Clusters of schools) educating the children and their teachers on what to do to stay alive.
Speaking to the media, The Road safety Ambassador Kwaku Duffour popularly known as Blackman said the move is to educate not only school children but also pedestrians and drivers as we heard towards the festive season.
According to him, they will move all-round the country to make sure road safety measures are adhere by everyone which will help curb road accidents in the country.
The headmistress of Sakumono School Complex 1, Madam Joyce Danso thanked NRSA for the campaign.
Again, the headmistress of Sakumono School complex 2, Madam Anny Rita Newton also shared some difficulties, such as unmarked roads and lack of zebra crossing margin around the school for easy crossing for pupils coming to school and out of school.
