Ghanaian-Nigerian-American gospel singer and songwriter Ara Ẹni has released her latest Afrobeats gospel single, “For My Matter”, a powerful song of faith, hope, and divine breakthrough.
The release comes at a time when Ghanaians around the world are celebrating the Black Stars’ dramatic stoppage-time victory over Panama in their opening FIFA World Cup match. Produced by Daniels Andrew, popularly known as Tbeatz, the song carries a message that resonates with anyone facing challenges and believing in God for a turnaround.
According to Ara Ẹni, “For My Matter” is a reminder that no situation is beyond God’s power. The uplifting track encourages listeners to remain hopeful and trust that God can transform their struggles into testimonies.
Speaking about the inspiration behind the song, the singer noted that breakthrough often comes when it seems impossible, drawing parallels with Ghana’s thrilling victory over Panama.
She expressed pride in the Black Stars and urged Ghanaians to continue supporting and praying for the team as they prepare for crucial World Cup clashes against England and Croatia.
In addition to the song release, Ara Ẹni has launched the “Pass the Ball of Hope” campaign, an initiative designed to spread positivity and encouragement.

The campaign invites fans to share short videos celebrating personal victories, words of inspiration, praise moments, or dances to “For My Matter”, while tagging others to continue the chain of hope using the hashtag #PassTheBall.
Ara Ẹni revealed that she symbolically passed the first “Ball of Hope” to the Black Stars before their opening match, joining many Ghanaians both at home and abroad who sent messages of encouragement to the national team.
“For My Matter” is now available on all major streaming platforms, with fans encouraged to share their stories and experiences using the hashtags #ForMyMatter and #PassTheBall.
Born Olufunmilola Serwa Babalola, Ara Ẹni is known for blending R&B, contemporary worship, and gospel music.
