The Founder of Royal House Chapel, Apostle General Sam Korankye Ankrah, has called on the government and the Inspector General of Police (IGP) to grant bail to the Democracy Hub protestors who were recently detained.
Speaking during his Sunday service, the respected man of God emphasized the importance of upholding the rights of citizens to peaceful protest and urged the authorities to show leniency in dealing with the protestors.
Apostle General Korankye Ankrah also advised the youth to remain mindful and responsible in their actions during demonstrations.
While acknowledging the importance of advocating for change and holding leadership accountable, he stressed that protests should be conducted peacefully and within the confines of the law.
He reminded the congregation that while it is essential to demand accountability from the government, violence and chaos should never be part of the approach.
He further called on the government to listen to the concerns of the youth, noting that their voices reflect the frustrations of many citizens who seek positive change.
He urged both the authorities and the youth to engage in constructive dialogue to ensure that Ghana’s democracy continues to thrive.
The Apostle General ended his message by praying for peace, unity, and wisdom for both the leaders and citizens of the nation, encouraging the pursuit of justice in a way that preserves national harmony.
