Ameenu Shardow Supports Otto Addo Amid Criticism

General Manager of the Black Stars, Ameenu Shardow, has thrown his full support behind head coach Otto Addo.

Despite recent criticism and pressure for his handling of the team, Shardow believes Addo is the right person to lead Ghana to success.

Shardow praised Addo’s humility, saying, “He got a lot of things wrong. He is the first to admit that.”

Addo’s willingness to learn from his mistakes and work tirelessly has impressed Shardow.

The Black Stars have bounced back from a six-game winless streak with emphatic wins against Chad and Madagascar in their 2026 World Cup qualifying campaign.

These victories have lifted Ghana to the top of Group I, three points clear of Comoros with four games remaining.

Shardow expressed confidence in Addo’s abilities, stating, “You could tell clearly that this is somebody who is destined for the top.”

With Shardow’s backing, Addo is poised to lead the Black Stars to qualification for the 2026 World Cup.
