Former Accra Hearts of Oak board member, Alhaji Imoro Akambi, has rendered an unqualified apology to supporters of the club for any insults, comments, or hurtful remarks he may have made in the past.
Speaking at the Hearts of Oak National Chapters Committee (NCC) Annual Delegates Conference held in Accra on Saturday, August 15, Alhaji Akambi expressed his deep respect for the Phobia faithful and said he regrets any actions or statements that may have offended supporters.
“If I have insulted any supporter, today I apologize. Hearts of Oak is bigger than all of us, and we must unite to push the club forward,” he said.
Alhaji Akambi also used the occasion to call for greater unity among supporters, club leadership, former officials, and other stakeholders as Hearts of Oak prepares for the 2026/27 football season.
His conciliatory remarks were warmly received by delegates at the conference, with many viewing the apology as an important step towards healing past differences and strengthening unity within the Hearts of Oak family.
The NCC Annual Delegates Conference brought together representatives of Hearts of Oak supporter chapters from across the country to deliberate on key issues affecting the club and discuss ways to support its growth and progress ahead of the new season.
The conference also provided an opportunity for stakeholders to reaffirm their commitment to the success of the historic club, with unity and collective support emerging as key messages for the Phobia family.
