Burkina Faso international midfielder Alain Traore is heading to Djibouti champions AS Arta Solar after leaving RS Berkane on a free transfer this season.
The 32 year old netted a late stunner as Burkina Faso beat Ghana 1-0 to clinch third place at the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations.
The bronze-medal game in Port-Gentil appeared to be headed for penalties, but the attacking midfielder decided differently with a sublime free-kick into the top corner with one minute left to go.
Traore left Qatar’s Al Markhiya Sports Club which he joined in the summer of 2017 in a free transfer coming from Turkish side Kayserispor.
He joined RS Berkane in the summer of 2018 and after three years with the North African club, has left on a free transfer to continue with his professional career with the Djibouti champions.
He is set to join Alexandre Song, Dany Nounkeu, Diafra Sakho and Cameroonian Idriss Carlos Kameni.
Traore previously played for Auxerre and FCLorient in France.
