Ahotor FM donates relief items to flooded victims in the Ada Constituency

Universal Multimedia Limited the operators of the Ahotor FM 92.3 have donated relief items to flooded victims in the Ada Constituency in the Greater Region.

The gesture, through the support of the media house and it’s cherish listeners followed an emotional appeal for support by the Member of Parliament (MP), Comfort Cudjoe Doyoe Ghansah.

The items include bales of used clothes for all ages, footwear, detergents, buckets, bowls, mosquito nets, blankets and bags of sachets water, etc.

The team from Ahotor FM was led by the General Manager of the station, Mr. Ahuma Bosco Ocansey (Daddy Bosco) and other heads of various departments.

The donation forms part of the corporate social responsibility of the company. The gesture forms part of first phase of support and assistance to the flood victims and we hope to donate more, especially to the people in the Volta region with the support from many philanthropist and our cherish listeners.

The Member of Parliament receiving the goods thanked UML and our cherish listeners who donated in support of bringing relief to her constituents.

She called on all, especially stakeholders, NGOs and individuals to come and support the people who were affected by the spillage of the Akosombo dam.
