SAKUMONO, Ghana, 28 December: Ahotor 92.3 FM, a subsidiary of Universal Multimedia, has successfully climaxed its 10th anniversary celebrations with a special thanksgiving service held at the Pentecost International Worship Centre (PIWC), Sakumono Branch.
The service, which took place on Sunday, December 28, 2025, brought together the Chief Executive Officer of Universal Multimedia, Dr. Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo, alongside management and staff of Ahotor 92.3 FM, to express gratitude to God for a decade of growth, resilience, and impact.
Dressed in all-white attire to symbolize thanksgiving and renewal, Dr. Ofosu-Ampofo described the anniversary as a moment to give God all the glory, reflecting on the many challenges the station faced, including the acquisition of operational licenses and other hurdles since its inception.
He noted that Ahotor 92.3 FM was established with a clear vision to provide a broad platform for the propagation of the true Word of God, a mission that has remained close to his heart.
According to him, the station’s commitment to dedicating 30 minutes of free airtime to PIWC Sakumono for the past six years is a testament to its resolve to support gospel outreach, urging the church to continue maximizing the opportunity to spread the message of Christ.
Dr. Ofosu-Ampofo further highlighted community impact as one of his proudest achievements since setting up the station.
He assured listeners and stakeholders of even greater influence in the years ahead, revealing that Ahotor is undergoing a major transformation, including plans to launch a live television platform to further serve and uplift the community.
As part of the anniversary thanksgiving, a special offering of GH¢10,000 was presented in support of the work of God, symbolizing the station’s 10 years of service.

The service was climaxed with prayers by Apostle John Ofori, a retired minister of the Church of Pentecost in the United States of America, who prayed for divine grace, wisdom, and strength for the CEO, management, and staff to elevate the station to greater heights.
