Ahmed Simba Toure expresses readiness to join Asante Kotoko recruitment team

Former Asante Kotoko striker Ahmed Simba Toure has publicly declared his readiness to serve the club in a recruitment role ahead of the upcoming season.

The Burkinabé forward, who enjoyed a memorable spell with the Porcupine Warriors, expressed his willingness to contribute both locally and internationally if granted the opportunity.

“I am ready to be part of the team in the best way if they give me the chance for recruitment in Ghana and outside Ghana, even inside Kotoko’s young team,” Toure stated.

The ex-goal poacher emphasised his desire to support the club’s talent identification efforts across all departments.

“From goalkeeper to attack, I want to be part of Kotoko’s scout team for the coming season,” he added.

Toure’s comments come at a time when Asante Kotoko continue to strengthen their squad structure, with recruitment and youth development expected to play a key role in the club’s plans.

Having previously worn the famous red jersey, Toure remains a respected figure among the Kotoko faithful, and his statement is likely to spark conversations about the potential involvement of former players in the club’s technical setup.
