Agyemang-Badu Urges Black Satellites to Stay Focused

Former U-20 World Cup winner Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu has charged Ghana’s Black Satellites to maintain focus as they kick off their 2025 U-20 Africa Cup of Nations campaign against DR Congo.

Agyemang-Badu acknowledged the challenges posed by Group C, saying, “It’s a tough group. DR Congo is strong, maybe Central African Republic too; we can’t take any game lightly.” He emphasized the importance of a strong start.

Agyemang-Badu stressed the need for mental discipline, advising, “We just need to stay focused.”

He also highlighted the growing interest in youth tournaments, saying they deserve attention and importance.

The Black Satellites will face DR Congo, Central African Republic, and Senegal in their group matches.

Agyemang-Badu’s words of caution come as the team prepares for the crucial opener tonight at 18:00 GMT.
