Former Black Stars midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang Badu is confident that Ghana will qualify for the 2025 African Cup of nations.
Ghana will lock horns against Sudan today in a crucial encounter. This is surely a must win game for the Black Stars who are on the verge of missing out on the African Cup since 2004.
Speaking to ChannelOne TV Agyemang Badu insist Ghana will make it.
” I am very optimistic Ghana won’t miss out on the AFCON. It will not happen but anything is possible in this world”
The former Asante Kotoko midfielder raised concern over how the standards have dropped with regards to the Black Stars.
“For years it was about playing in the semi-finals or the finals of the AFCON but now we are struggling to qualify. It is sad. All we have to do now is to support the team with prayers”
Ghana have only 2 points after 3 matches from the qualifiers. They are up against Sudan today in a make or break game today. kick off at 13:00 GMT.
