Agyemang-Badu Backs Jerry Afriyie to Lead Black Satellites to Victory

Former Ghana midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu believes Jerry Afriyie will lead the Black Satellites to victory against Egypt in the U-20 AFCON quarterfinals.

Afriyie has returned to camp after missing the team’s final Group C game.

Agyemang-Badu praised Afriyie, saying, “He is our talisman. He has the experience playing for the Black Stars, and when he joins us, you see he is a different player.” Agyemang-Badu added that Afriyie will score and help Ghana qualify for the U-20 World Cup.

A win for Ghana will secure qualification for the U-20 World Cup in Chile later this year.
