Ghanaian actor Agya Koo has straightened the records of a feud with fellow actor Lil Win. The comedian clarified that there is no animosity between them and suggested that the speculation is largely driven by fans.
“I believe it’s the fans who are fueling the drama,” he remarked, pointing out that both fans and media often create rivalries by comparing public figures, even when there’s no real discord.
He drew a parallel to how supporters of top football players often pit them against one another. Agya Koo emphasized that he has never spoken negatively about Lil Win and that he holds no personal grievances.
He even reminisced about their first meeting, highlighting the positive interaction they had. In addition to addressing the rumors, Agya Koo shared an interesting anecdote about how he convinced Akrobeto to leave his job in Europe and join the Kumawood film industry, a move that significantly impacted Akrobeto’s career.
During a performance in Holland, Agya Koo invited Akrobeto, who was living in Belgium at the time, to join him on stage. Impressed by Akrobeto’s talent, Agya Koo felt that his friend was underutilizing his potential by working a traditional job.
After the show, Agya Koo encouraged Akrobeto to pursue acting back in Ghana, assuring him that his true passion lay in show business. Taking this advice to heart, Akrobeto decided to leave Belgium and embark on a career in the film industry in Ghana. Their first collaboration turned out to be a major success, launching Akrobeto into the limelight.
