African Legends Asamoah Gyan and Clementine Toure to Assist with CAF African Schools Football Championship Draw

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has confirmed that African legends Asamoah Gyan and Clementine Toure will assist with the official draw for the CAF African Schools Football Championship Continental Finals, Ghana 2025.

The draw ceremony will take place on Monday, April 21, in Accra.

 

Gyan, a Ghanaian football icon, and Toure, a renowned Ivorian footballer, will join other African football legends, including Abedi Pele, Adjoa Bayor (Ghana), Robert Kidiaba (DR Congo), and Amanda Dlamini (South Africa), in supporting the participating teams throughout the competition.

 

The CAF African Schools Football Championship, Ghana 2025, will feature eight nations in both the Boys and Girls Under-15 age categories, competing for continental honors. The tournament will take place in Accra from April 23 to 26, 2025.

The winners of both the Boys’ and Girls’ competitions will receive $300,000 in prize money, with the runners-up receiving $200,000 and bronze medalists $150,000. The prize money is intended to support development projects within schools.
