Accra Lions Holds Berekum Chelsea To A 1-1 Draw On GPL Matchday 6

Accra Lions secured a 1-1 draw against Berekum Chelsea in a hard-fought encounter on Matchday 6 of the Ghana Premier League which took place at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium .

The home team – Accra lions opened the scoring through Ali Mohammed in the 57th minutes of the second half , applying pressure on the Berekum Chelsea with quick attacking play. However, Berekum Chelsea showed resilience and managed to equalize in the 59th minutes through Stephen Amankonah, leveling the game.

Accra Lions will look to build on this result as they prepare for their next game against Young Apostles and lies at 15th position with 5 points . Berekum Chelsea lies on the 4 position with 10 points after 6 games and will rock shoulders with Legon Cities in their next game .
